Supporting Children
Children are the future, and Mamita’s Ices is dedicated to nurturing their potential. From donating our products to local schools and children’s events, to sponsoring toy drives and sporting events around NYC, we’re committed to helping every child succeed. Whether we’re able to provide a sweet treat that makes them smile or essential clothing and gear during colder months, we’ll always do what we can to help kids thrive.
Building Churches
As a family, faith plays a central role in our lives, motivating us to extend a helping hand to those in need. Today, we’re committed to serving global communities with the spiritual well-being of others in mind. We’re honored to do our part by helping to build churches for the less fortunate in countries like India, Columbia, and the Dominican Republic.
Helping with Housing
A testament to the family’s faith and altruistic spirit, two of the Mamita’s Ices owners recently traveled to India to donate houses to impoverished families in need. Working closely with local church leaders, they identified two families with the greatest needs and felt deeply honored to be able to make a difference in their lives.
PROVIDING THE ESSENTIALS
The MOGAR Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing food, clothing, toiletries, and other essential items to people in need. Created by The Morel and Garcia families (Mo-Gar) behind Mamitas Ices, the foundation exists to support families, immigrants, and future generations in New York and Dominican Republic communities.
